Im on my second fabric cover journal. I took out the sewing machine that has never been used and it isnt working. The bobbin thread wont hook onto the needle thread.. Im not a patient soul so yea im so mad. I love that trim that you have on your favorite cover. All those little flowers...just love it.
I get the same way when my sewing machine isn't working. Recently I had to take the whole inner workings out and untangle a mess and then also clean it out (which I think was part of the problem).
Two years later….. art institute glitter glue is still hands down the go to glue for me. It’s been for 20 years now. I wouldn’t use any other glue for 95% of my projects.

Where have you found your cigar boxes at? Ive been looking for weeks for them. They are sacred...lol
Most of the time I find the best deals for cigar boxes at thrift stores and rummage sales. You can also find them at antique stores/antique malls but they usually cost more.

I run scissors along the edge just like OP & when it’s in book format I take a lighter & burn the edges. I should have led with this statement but if you’re a minor please do not do this w/o permission or supervision, always glad to welcome new crafters but safety first

I have yet to find guest checks. I love the abc card with the roses. My next journal is a pink journal..my favorite color...and im collecting things for it. Was that a printable.? Your journal is packed full. You did a great job with this series.

Glad you’re being for real. Showing how to fix or how you fix mistakes helps me a lot. I appreciate you showing everything, even your mistakes. I don’t feel so bad now.
When crafting I try to just enjoy my time and roll with the punches when I make mistakes. Usually you can fix most things and if not then you have at least learned one way not to do it again. There is always a learning curve. However, if I find that I am making too many mistakes I will often just set the item I am working on aside and spend some of my craft time organizing or cleaning up my space and come back to the project later.
